Alameda Point Antiques Faire

Santa Cruz Woodies Ohana shared another fun day at the Alameda Point Antiques Faire.  We walked our legs off and filled up our shopping carts to overflowing.  Kathryn and Kristina Benson again set the record for the most overfilled cart.

While Joe and Janice Cosgrave were not able to make it, Joe’s personal shopper Phil Iatomase found Joe an Arizona Territory Deputy Marshal badge, which Joe had been hankering after for his collection.

Joe and Arlene were thrilled to discover a long sought-after antique “School Zone” sign, which upon arriving home became a “Surf School Zone” sign.

While Toni Wilkerson didn’t find another 6-foot toy soldier, much to Doug Yugo’s relief, she certainly didn’t go home empty handed!  By the end of the day we were all too pooped to lift a Mai Tai and dance to the “Insect Surfers” at Forbidden Island Tiki Bar, which may need to be a future trip!
